Raising three kids as a single parent with no degree is a challenge in any era, but in the ‘50s I can imagine it was not exactly “a walk in the park.” I salute Peg’s legacy, besides the permanent museum devoted to Chesapeake maritime history, of the lives and achievements of her sons, granddaughter Courtney and grandson Zachary.
