Of all my friends, Peg was youngest in spirit though the oldest in age. We knew each other for thirty years. She was a sister and a second mother, someone I knew I could always count on. We spent many hours working and marching together to gain equal rights for women. It was wonderful to have a friend that had “been there, done that”; she was a great source of good advice, which was always given in a way that left me feeling like we were equals. As I think of Peg, I realize I will especially miss our lunches and conversations together.
I want her family to know that it has been a pleasure and honor to have had Peg in my life. Love to all.
